San Luis CBP Officer Apprehends Man with Child Pornography
SAN LUIS, Ariz. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the San Luis Port of Entry arrested a 27-year-old Mexican citizen on April 24 for possession of child pornography. The man, who was applying for entry with a B1/B2 visa, was referred for secondary inspection. During a search of his belongings, CBP officers discovered obscene material.
“Our CBP officers are committed to protecting children and preventing criminal activity,” said Chris Leon, Area Port Director for San Luis. “This arrest underscores CBP’s dedication to community safety.”
The seized materials were confiscated, and the man was transferred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) for further processing. Charges have been filed, but the individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
